applications:

Indoor Short-Term Promotions: In-house advertising for e.g. promotion at concerts, theatres, cinemas or shopping malls.
Floorgraphics: Advertising on shop-floors, supermarkets, exhibition hall etc.
Indoor Signs: For preparation of identification signs or maps or banner at exhibitions, POS, convetions, in large buildings ect.
Outdoor Signage: Mounted advertising/information panels such as signs or maps or banners, i.e. construction signs, POS, decoration, exhibitions.
Fleet Graphics: Graphics on trucks, busses or other vehicles as advertising and special promotions for short-term use.

ink compatibilities:

Ink with Dye : Aqueous dye-based ink systems, whereby the colourant behaves like sugar in water. These inks deliver high colour saturation but are more sensitive to the ozone and UV-light than watery pigment inks: we therefore strongly recommend glass framing or lamination for long-term indoor application.
Aqueous Pigmented Ink: to be printed with aqueous pigmented based ink systems, used on Thermal-, Bubble- and Piezo-Jet printers. The ink colorant (pigment) does not dissolve or behaves like chalk in water. Outdoor ink.

properties:

Permanent adhesive: The adhesive is specially developed for long term outdoor applications, which gives out-standing adhesion on most surface materials, but removing without residues on suvstrate cannot be guaranteed due to the permanet character of the adhesive.
Quick dry: The special coating effects that ink will be absorbed in a fraction of a second therefore applications can follow directly after printing.
Waterresistency/Waterfastness: this product printed with pigmented based inks can be used for short-term outdoor applications without any laminate film (see referring data sheet and recommendations of use). That means this product withstands rain and other outdoor influences, but water droplets can cause slight differences in color density within colored areas.
Cold lamination: This product should only be protected against atmospherich influences with cold laminate films.

For wide format printing, giving high colour graduation and excellent sharpness. The coating makes it possible to accept high amounts of ink. Also with less ink, good results are possible. It ́s recommended to work with ink-limit settings of about 260% - 280%. Water-fast coating is developed for universal use with dye and pigm. inks, and gives the opportunity of up to 3 months outdoor use without lamination with appropriate pigm. inks (Recommendation for European Climate). Up to 12 months laminated without edge protection (tested with Seal Print Shield Pro Lustre), when used with pigmented inks. With edge protection we estimate e protection of more than 12 months. Lamination is recommended for extra protection to reduce the impact of dirt, physical abrasion or other environmental impact (UV rays, rain, wind, etc). For outdoor use only pressure sensitive laminates are recommended. Tested cold-laminates with good adhesion: Neschen Filmolux Satin, Foto, UV-E, 3M 8519CP, Seal Print Shield Pro Lustre. For indoor-applications also the use of hot and low-melt laminates is possible. For full security in outdoor applications the edges must be protected with an overlap of 5mm or with car hard varnish. High ink limits to be avoided for optimal adhesion of laminate. Drying time of 12 hours assists with the lamination bond. Smooth, dry, clean and non greasy mounting surfaces are required. Optimal manipulation temperature is 15 – 25 C. Optimal bonding properties are received with aluminium, stainless steel, lacquered metals (tested with conventional vehicle lacquers) . Fresh lacquered surfaces should not be used for the application of the vinyl foil. Removal of media at 15-25 C. Any residue can be removed with soapy water or petrol. Generally we recommend for all substrates the user is using for the 1st time with this foil to carry out preliminary bonding - and if necessary weathering tests. Resistance of the mounted surface to these solutions must be proved before use. For application on Foam-X or similar paper-boards, the surface must be well cleaned with Isopropanole to prevent delaminating. Pre-test of the adhesive onto unknown surfaces is strongly advised. Accelerated weathering test results (Q-U-V) printed with HP UV+ and Epson pigmented inks, showed good results unlaminated after 500 hours, laminated (Neschen Filmolux Satin) after 1000 hours. To achieve the full water-resistance, the ink has to be completely dry. We recommend to let the prints dry for min. 12 hours before exposing to wetness.
